Hands-on exhibits and viewing areas explain how fish are raised to support regional waters. The focus is on fisheries management and conservation, showing how stocked species and habitat work together to sustain Lake Superior–area ecosystems.

Bayfield Winery and Blue Ox Cider crafts a variety of fruit wines and hard ciders using cherries, apples, and other local produce. Guests can enjoy tastings, tours, and scenic views of the vineyard, sampling handcrafted beverages that reflect the flavors of the Bayfield Peninsula.

Starting at Meyers Beach, this well-known trail follows the mainland shore of Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. Hikers pass forested stretches and elevated views above Lake Superior, with access to dramatic sandstone formations and the route toward the mainland sea caves.

Set on Hauser’s Superior View Farm, this cidery is known for hard cider made from orchard fruit grown on site. Current official information notes that Apfelhaus Cidery is temporarily closed, though it remains a recognized stop in Bayfield’s orchard and cider scene.

Perched above Bodin Fisheries in Bayfield, this brewery offers small-batch beer in a taproom with strong harbor character. Visitors come for house-made pours, a relaxed setting, and elevated views that connect the experience to Bayfield’s working waterfront.

Located in nearby Washburn, this new brewpub builds its identity around local stories, craft beer, and a community gathering space. The brewery officially opened in 2026 and features a large indoor setting designed for drinks, food, and social events.
