Covid-19 Updates

*Notice- Effective Friday, July 17th, 2020 Ashland and Bayfield County public health officials issued an Emergency Advisory which stipulates that everyone age 5 and older wear a face covering or mask when in any enclosed building where other people, except for a member of the person's own household or living unit could be present.   

We understand that the COVID-19 situation poses unique challenges for everyone and we want you to know we are here for you. The health and safety of our guests and team members is our top priority.

We are taking additional steps to ensure our campground remains a safe and healthy place for you and your loved ones to stay. We look forward to seeing everyone!

Procedures in Place: 

  • "Curbside Check-In" available- Please call the office at 715-779-5524 to schedule. Check-in times are from 1:00 pm- 6:00 pm
  • Increased Cleaning & Sanitizing
  • Camp Store, Restrooms & Facilities, Campsites- all hard surface touchpoints will be sanitized.
  • Our camp store will be open to 5 guests or less.  
  • Picnic tables, faucet handles & electrical pedestals will be cleaned & sanitized prior to check-in.
  • Additional Sanitizing Station located outside Camp Store.

  • ATV trails (check local trail conditions) *Road routes currently open
  • Ferry Service to Madeline Island (Limited Hours of operation and must wear a face mask)
  • Fishing (All boat launches currently open)
  • Kayaking (check local guide services for details)
  • Amazing Star Gazing
  • Food Delivery from local restaurants (Carry-Out & delivery to your site) *Some may be open for in-person dining* 
  • Adventure Brewing Club Craft Beer (curbside pick up available)
  • Apostle Islands Cruises 



Travel Tips:

  • Bring your mask.  Bayfield county has issued a mask advisory for indoor spaces. (outdoor spaces where 6ft social distancing cannot take place). Anyone age 5 or older is 
  • Guests are advised to use showers and restrooms in their camping units if equipped.
  • If possible, maintain social distancing of 6 feet.
  • If possible, limit all campsites to members of a single household or living unit.
